    Beautiful Museum Quality Mexican Collectible Vase/Vessel.

    The vase/vessel was made at the workshop of internationally known ceramicist Geronimo Ramos. This vessel/jar was made between the 1970's or 1980.
    GERONIMO RAMOS is recognized as one of the renowned
    artisans in Mexican pottery.
    This vase is a one of a kind.
    Please note all the details, The Naguales, the sun, the
    eagle, the plants and of course the patatillo back ground.
    His work is represented at the Museo National National de las Ceramics or National Ceramic Museum.
    Ramos worked in both the burnished and petatillo styles.
    THIS rare jar is in the petatillo style in which the negative areas where the surface is filled in with tiny cross hatching patterns which resemble woven mats.
    A skilled craftsman, Ramos has won many, many accolades on the national level.
    The vase has been signed by Geronimo.
    The pieces of Geronimo's ceramic are rarely sold to the public since they are mostly found in museums, private homes and galleries from around the world.
