Have a leaky rack and pinion?
This rack usually leaks from the top or the input shaft seal, where it connects to the steering column
This seal will fix that problem, don't replace the complete rack and pinion if you don't have to.
Follow these easy steps:
* Disconnect the steering shaft from rack and pinion
* Disconnect all lines, high pressure and return as well as the 2 lines from the rack it self
*Take the 3 bolts to separate the upper housing and pull out.
*knock seal and bearing out of housing, you can use a socket and tap it out
*replace with new seal, reuse bearing in the same order
*tap it back with a socket and extension
*Assemble everything back in reverse order
