This is the input shaft seal or the seal that is on the shaft connecting to steering wheel shaft

Have a leaky steering gear box?
This gear box usually leaks from the top or the input shaft seal, where it connects to the steering column
This seal will fix that problem, don't replace the complete steering gear box if you don't have to.
Follow these easy steps:
* Disconnect the steering shaft from steering gear box
*Remove the dust shield cover on the input shaft
*Remove the snap ring retainer or flat retainer
*Remove seal by using a sharp object puncturing a hole and prying out
*Remove input shaft seal , be careful not to damage the walls on housing or shaft
*Assemble everything back in reverse order
