    Description

    This thermostat has limited functionality and is being sold as-is.
    Up until a month ago it was working fine through the Carrier app, etc but then it started to act up.  Touchscreen works and it still controls the temperature and humidity, but appears to be in some sort of "non-programmable" state, so effectively it behaves as a "Dumb" thermostat
    You can change the comfort profiles but you can't edit the schedule or go into vacation mode and you can't control it with Alexa or via the carrier app. The internal electronic serial # also no longer appears.
    The unit was produced in 2018 and we spoke with Carrier and they said if the internal electronic serial # is no longer showing in the setup screen (see picture) that it would need to be replaced.
