Weighing in at a a svelte 11.1 pounds, we have a 1981 Peavey T-40 bass in somewhat rare sunburst finish. It's an early one as it has the pickups with no metal blade and the case with the brown lining. The guitar is all original save for an added thumb rest and a missing truss rod cover.
The guitar has quite a few miles on it and was played as you can see, but it was taken care of and is in pretty good shape. it does have a bit of buckle rash on the back, but no real major bumps or bruises. The frets are in good shape and everything works exactly as it should. The guitar recently got a deep clean and a fresh setup and plays very nice. It would benefit from a new set of strings, but what is on there would be fine and VERY gigable.
All in all, this is an early T-40 in good condition that is ready to play.
